The Sund Rises In The East

Sorry, I felt the need to give this blog post a clever header, and that's the best I could come up with on short notice.
Sometime in the next few days, the Hawks will officially announce the hiring of Rick Sund as the team's new general manager. Sund was replaced in Seattle when the team was sold to Clay Bennett, but before that had some successes (won a division title in 2004-05, turned an aging Gary Payton into Ray Allen) worth mentioning. We don't know much more at this point other than that he is the choice, but as soon as we have more info we'll post it here. Update: It's official- here's the release.
