The pressure is off for the last two games of the season, as the Wizards beat the Pacers 117-110 tonight in Washington to officially eliminate Indiana and send the Hawks to the playoffs. I know I said earlier today I wanted to see the team clinch at home, but I'll happily take it. The Hawks worked hard to get to this point, and they deserve a couple games to get their heads right and their bodies healthy for Boston.
We'll start looking ahead at the first-round matchup with the Celtics in the next few days, but for tonight let's all enjoy the good news and celebrate tomorrow night with the Hawks home finale against the Orlando Magic.
