Not Really A Live Blog, But I'll Be Here
Posted by: Micah Hart on June 26, 2008 at 6:57PM EST
As I mentioned earlier this week, I don't expect to see much movement from the Hawks tonight, as we have no picks in the 2008 NBA Draft. However, I will be on-site, right outside the Hawks war room, just in case anything goes down.

We've already seen several deals take place the last couple days between several teams, so you just never know what might transpire.

If anything happens, I'll be here to let you know.

Enjoy the draft!

I can't can't help but post to try to trade speedy to draft DeAndre Jordan. I know we don't need another young player, but we lose nothing expect speedy's big contract if we do it. Jordan still available.

Just in case the GM here's about the blogs. Resign both Joshes. Smith is one of the top 5 exciting to watch players in the league. Childress is an all around great player. Both are young. One more center to share time with ZAZA and were good to go. Next year they will be good - the year after - maybe very very good.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THE NUMBER 1 PRIORITY IS SIGNING BACK THE JOSHES AT ALL COST.THE NUMBER 2 PRIORITY IS GETTING A CENTER SO BIG AL CAN MOVE BACK TO HIS REGULAR POSITION AT PF. I HAVE CONFIDENCE THAT RICK SUND AND MIKE WOODSON WILL MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES THOUGH WE'VE HAD BAD HISTORY IN THE PAST, ATL ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE. (GET BACK THE JOSHES ATL STAFF WE CANT DO WITHOUT THEM, DONT END THE EXCITEMENT NOW BUILD ON IT!)

If we lose Josh Smith, we will definitely suffer and another team will profit GREATLY.
We need Childress also to pick up the slack, he's great off the bench, and he's a selfless player.
WHY COULDN'T WE HAVE TAKEN CARE OF THIS BACK IN OCTOBER SO THAT THIS WOULDN'T BE SO STRESSFUL!?
