Man, the atmosphere here tonight is totally different. In the first two games, the crowd was in a frenzy well before tip-off. Right now, you don't hear a thing. I can feel the nervousness. That's not to say the Celtics will lose tonight, but the feeling in the arena is much, much different than the last time we were here.
The video board just showed a montage of highlights from the last time the Hawks and Celtics faced off in the playoffs, 20 years ago, in the famous Bird-Nique duel. They are showing several clips of Larry Bird scoring at will on the Hawks, despite constant defensive pressure from the opposition. The Hawks couldn't stop him, no matter what they tried.
Man, that sounds so familiar, I could swear I saw someone else do something like that recently...
