Horford Says He Tipped It

Just posted on Sekou Smith's AJC blog, Al Horford says the Raptors' fury over the end of regulation is misplaced, as
he
got a finger on the ball which triggered the ref to start the clock
before TJ Ford got his hands on it to attempt his game-tying lay-up.
There is a picture on HawkSquawk of the play in question, for those that want to check it out. My two cents? The Toronto players said it right last night in post-game interviews. If they had held onto the lead, late-game heroics never would have come into play. I talked to Josh Smith today about the Hawks comeback, and he said the team's confidence in themselves and each other played a huge role in coming back from the 17-point deficit. I for one am still incredibly jazzed about the win, but am shifting my focus to the hugely important home-and-home with Philly on Friday and Saturday. As noted by Sekou Smith, John Hollinger, and others, the Hawks are now closer to the 5th spot than they are to 9th. No time to let up now!
