With the season approaching, websites around the intertubes are starting to publish their predictions for the upcoming season. As they come in (read: pop up on my google reader), I will post them here to show you what the world thinks of our hometown Hawks.

First and foremost, ESPN's John Hollinger, surprisingly, has the Hawks making the playoffs this season ($), slating them in the 7th spot in the East and third in the Southeast Division. I personally find Hollinger to be one of the brighter NBA writers around, so it makes me happy to see he is bullish on the team this early. The Wages Of Wins blog has their preview of the Hawks, and it has harsh things to say about Marvin that I strongly disagree with, but they are entitled to their opinions.
