Well apparently, when you win a game on the road against a team that came
into the night 16-5, people will take notice. Lots of words about the Hawks out
there on the interwebs right now, so I thought I'd provide a few extra links
today for your enjoyment.

AHHHHH, Josh follows up a great performance by SINGLE-HANDEDLY blowing this game. One of the worst single games I've seen an individual play, EVER.

I think that Player of the Week title went to his head and he forgot what got him it in the first place. There's never any balance with him. He's either very good or he's very bad. At least when JJ is struggling from the floor he can contribute in other ways by getting his teammates involved, grabbing rebounds, and playing defense. I think somebody's smelling themselves. DC you are so right. He is one individual that can single-handledly blow a game for his team. Someone needs to tell him what his role is. There is no excuse for 7 turnovers. Especially when the offense does not run through you. I need him to stop trying to make that Top Ten on NBATV. See what happens when he gets the number one spot. Even Steve Smith said he played like he was two plays ahead of everyone else and he needed to slow himself down.

we all saw al horford's defensive play on tj ford, and if that wasn't the most cowardly, unsportsmanlike play i have seen in a loooong time. if atlanta doesn't fine this guy and sit him down for a game or two, i think the nba should come down hard and make a statement that this kind of cheap shot will not be tolerate. this guy is a jerk and i knew it the day he was drafted.

First, M Lewis, I don't agree at all. If you saw the play, you can tell by Al's reaction right after that he did not intend to hit him in the face and felt bad about what happened. He's also been an incredibly classy player that has played his heart out and not gotten an attitude with anyone. The double flagrant was warranted, but I don't see any extra punishment necessary. It was an accident.
Second, thanks Kisha, I agree with you, too. I think the indicative play was Josh getting the rebound then instead of making an outlet pass to a PG, he raced the ball down himself, dribbled behind his back, then forced an awful shot that didn't even come close. He tried to force it, and like you said, was two plays ahead of everyone. He is an amazing player with remarkable athletic skills, but he just has to get his head right before every game. One thing I'll credit him for, though, he seems to be playing with a passion. He was here when we won 13 and he wants to win.

All right fellas, Last night can be summed up with three words... Poor Shooting Percentage... Rebounding went well... Young players made some mistakes, but also made some great plays... And those of you who want to fine Al for the play near the end of the game, come on... It was an accident, even Toronto's players stated that fact... Things like this happen... One thing I would like Horford to do is keep playing HARD! Don't let this incident factor in your playing style... This last game is a bump in the road... It ended our winning streak, so let's start another one... And one last thing, Josh Smith, you are not the greatest, you do have potential, but don't get full of yourself!

First of all M.Lewis you have been tainted by NYC so you would not know class when you see it. Horford never show that he was not a classy guy. As far as Josh Smith he will be a great player someday but it was not last night. He got his dates messed up. I think the team played pretty well as a whole and for once can say that the back to back was a factor.
We will see what they are made of when they go to Detroit Friday.
