Camby To Clippers

The marketplace for Josh Smith continues to break in the Hawks direction, as it
is being reported tonight that the Clippers have used the bulk of their salary
cap budget to
pry Marcus Camby away from the Denver Nuggets (for only a second round
pick?).
If that is indeed the case, then all of the teams that have at one
time or another had significant cap space to take a run at Smith have used their
money elsewhere except for Memphis, which to this point has shown no interest in
pursuing him. I suppose that could change, but for now it looks as if the Hawks
are in the driver's seat to retain his services for the foreseeable future...

These are great news. I don't know what the Nugetts staff is thinking, but to trade in a week your two best defenders (Najera and Marcus) when you're the worst defense in the league, this is non-sense.
But that's great for us, Smoove has to sign and then Chill' will follow. Time to try a trade with the pieces we've got with Marvin and all those bench injured players.

thats a major suprise! the nuggets are either dumb or they must have a plan cause camby is a great player. i hope the joshes are signed cause in case no one has noticed the weaker teams are building up for a strong season. they are going to come ready. i hope we will come ready towith "all" our players good and ready for the season and playoffs.

Great for Hawks and Josh we sign and trade Josh to LA for Kaman we get the center veteran we need. This time we stick Clippers like they did us when we traded Niq for Manning hell if you can trade Niq for a scrub like Manning.Surely you can get a All- Star center(eastern)for Josh.Plus he gets his money. Our new line-up competitive in east and still young.

you hosemaze is stupid we will never trade josh smith away. and the nuggets r so stupid for doing that we need to sign the joshes and another player and trade marvin and maybe zaza for someone like lamarces aldrige and beindris or even monte ellis

Am I the only guy scared here?
Reportedly, Josh will not play for Woodson. This Camby deal is a set-up I don't like one bit. Sign and trade Josh for Camby and throw more pieces in there. The Clippers know we need a center and they will not let go of Kaman. Boy this sucks.
Just sign both Joshes already before I have a heart attack.
